Port Arthur Public Adjuster, a public adjusting service of Rise Public Adjusting LLC ("we," "our," or "us"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard information when you visit portarthurpublicadjuster.com, use its tools, or contact us through our online forms, phone, or email. We have written it to describe what this website actually does. By using this website, you agree to the practices described here.
Information you give us
When you submit a Free Claim Review or contact form, we collect the information you enter:
- Name, email address, and phone number
- Property city and ZIP code, and property address if you provide it
- Claim type and claim status
- Your insurance company (optional)
- Date of loss (optional)
- Your message and other details about your claim or property damage
- File uploads such as photos or PDFs (optional)
You do not have to provide personal information to browse the site, though we cannot respond to a request without contact details. Please share only what is needed to describe your situation, and avoid sending Social Security numbers, bank details, or similar sensitive data through the form.
How form submissions and uploads are handled
Form submissions are emailed to our team using authenticated SMTP. They are not stored in a website database. Files you upload are attached to that email and are not kept on the web server after the message is sent. After delivery, your submission lives in our business email system, where it is retained as described below.
How we use your information
- To review your claim situation and respond to your request
- To communicate with you about your property damage, claim, or our services
- To prepare and handle a claim if you become a client under a written contract
- To maintain internal records and meet legal and regulatory obligations, including Texas Department of Insurance record requirements
- To protect the website from spam and abuse and to keep it working properly
Calls, texts, and email
By submitting your information, you agree that we may contact you by phone, email, or other reasonable means about your inquiry or our services. We call or text you only in response to a request you made, such as a Free Claim Review, or in connection with a claim we are handling for you. We do not send marketing text messages. You can ask us to stop non-essential communications at any time.
Spam protection and rate limiting
To limit spam and automated abuse of our forms, the website stores a one-way hash of the visitor's IP address along with submission timestamps. The hash cannot readily be reversed into the original IP address. These records are kept for up to 3 days and then deleted.
Server and security logs
The website is hosted by Hostinger. Like most hosts, Hostinger keeps server and security logs that may include IP addresses, browser and device information, requested pages, and timestamps. These logs are used to operate and secure the service and are retained under the host's own policies.
Cookies, analytics, and advertising
- Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics (Google tag, measurement ID G-L7RSXW5PY8) to understand how visitors use the site—for example, which pages are viewed, how visitors arrive, general location (city level), device and browser type, and whether a form was submitted. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as
_ga) to do this. We do not send your name, email, phone number, or claim details to Google Analytics. Learn more at How Google uses information from sites that use its services; you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. - We use no advertising cookies and do not run ad retargeting.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Claim tools that run in your browser
Documentation Checklist
The Claim Documentation Checklist can save your progress in your own browser's local storage, but only if you choose to. That information stays on your device and is never transmitted to us. You can clear it at any time through the tool or your browser settings.
Calculators
The Claim Calculator and Hurricane Deductible Calculator run entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent to our server.
Weather, storm data, and maps
Weather and storm information on this site comes from the National Weather Service (NWS) and NOAA. Our server requests current conditions, forecasts, alerts, and storm reports from the NWS (api.weather.gov), tropical storm information from NOAA's National Hurricane Center, and storm history from NOAA's National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) and the Iowa Environmental Mesonet archive of NWS reports. Because our server makes these requests, your IP address is not shared with those providers when you view that data.
Storm maps load map tiles directly from OpenStreetMap tile servers. When a map is displayed, your browser connects to those servers, and they receive your IP address and standard browser information under the OpenStreetMap Foundation's own privacy and tile usage policies.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers that help us operate the website and email, under confidentiality obligations
- With your insurer or others involved in your claim, when you are a client and the sharing is needed to handle the claim
- When required by law, regulation, legal process, or a request from the Texas Department of Insurance
- To protect our rights, safety, or property, or those of others
Data retention
Because submissions are delivered by email, they are retained in our email system for as long as needed to respond to you, handle any resulting claim, and meet legal and regulatory record-keeping requirements. Inquiries that do not lead to representation may be deleted when no longer needed. You may ask us to delete your information, subject to those legal obligations.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS connections, authenticated email delivery, and access limited to authorized personnel. No website or email system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy rights
You may contact us to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request deletion, subject to legal obligations. We will respond within a reasonable time as required by applicable law. We do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising.
Children's privacy
This website is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
This website links to outside sites such as government agencies. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, policies, or content; please review their policies.

Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the website or our practices change. Changes take effect when posted, and the "last updated" date at the top of this page shows the latest revision. Significant changes, such as adding or removing an analytics service, will be reflected here.
